User involvement in research

Involving children and adolescents as active participants in mental health research is increasingly recognised as crucial for improving the relevance and effectiveness of interventions. Youth involvement can range from consultation on study design to participation in data collection and interpretation. Engaging young people in research not only enhances the quality of studies but also empowers youth and promotes their mental health literacy.
